Generating CAM Files from an Eagle Circuit Board

 

 

After creating a board in Eagle CAD follow these steps to create the CAM files.

**NOTE: DO NOT use octagonal pads, Circuit Cam does not recognize these.**

 

 

Eagle CAD

1. ULP--->drillcfg.ulp--->inches
2. File--->CAM processor--->Open job--->excellon.cam--->open--->(select drill and holes)--->process Job
3. File--->CAM processor--->Open job--->gerb247x.cam--->open--->uncheck mirror/ delete all tabs but Component side, Solder side, and Dimension--->select 20Dimension--->Process Job

Circuit CAM

File Import--->
---> .cmp (change layer to top layer)
---> .sol (change layer to bottom for solder side)
---> .dim (layer: board outline)
---> .drl (File-Type: Aperture/tools auto)
---> .drd (Layer: Drill unplated)
Insulate all layers
File--->Export--->Lpkf
