Senior Project - Vehicle to Vehicle Visible Light Communication

        This system implements visible light communication (VLC) to be used as a means for vehicle to vehicle communication. An LED (Light Emitting Diode) is switched at rates undetectable by the human eye, communicating with photo sensors on another vehicle. The system will communicate information such as position as well as other important information that will be used to assist drivers. Through driver assistance, the system will help to prevent loss of life and property due to vehicle on vehicle accidents as well as help to guarantee a smooth and steady flow of traffic, thereby helping to save everybody time, money, and patience. This product will assist in the development and implementation of vehicle to vehiclce equipped transportation by contributing a new type of loss prevention technology to the vehicle industry.
