Senior Project - Spinner™ Random Screening Tool
The Spinner™ Random Screening Tool is a device that medical offices can use to select which patients need to take a urine drug test (UDT).
The office determines the selection criteria (the percentage chance a person will be selected), and a patient pushes a button and receives the result.
The result is communicated via lights and using sound (a piezoelectric buzzer). There are additional override modes allowing administrators to
pre-select the result for a patient (either setting it to 0% chance of testing or 100% chance of testing required) using a slide switch. Finally, there is a button
accompanying a 3-digit seven-segment display array that an administrator can use to display the likelihood of selection.
